The Plant Guide - Game Prototype Test Version
A downloadable game for Windows and macOS
A squirrel sets out on a quest to collect a plant encyclopedia in order to obtain a hidden treasure. At first, it is driven by anxiety and urgency to complete the task, but along the journey, it gradually becomes aware of the beauty around it.
- Hand-drawn sketches are used to record the appearance of plants
- Interact with NPCs to gather information about different plants
- Plant attributes affect the character’s survival status
This version is a very early gameplay test build, with a total playtime of around five minutes.

Note: If your macOS version shows the message “can’t be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software,” go to System Settings > Privacy & Security, scroll down to the Security section, and click “Open Anyway.”
